Director, Pricing Strategy - Remote

We are in hyper growth mode, and are expanding our portfolio of products. We are looking for a pricing leader to evolve our pricing and develop new monetization strategies.  You will partner closely with product management,  marketing, finance and sales to frame strategic discussions and drive data-driven recommendations for the business model and pricing strategy for Chargebee’s offerings. You will be responsible for directing and executing the end-to-end pricing & licensing strategy across products, including development of new and innovative pricing models, setting price levels, constructing licensing structures, and creating price promotions/packaging. This role provides a mix of strategy formulation and ownership of its execution – you’ll never lose the pulse of the business.

What you will be doing:

  • Partner with leaders in the Product and Go-to-Market organizations to develop a coherent Pricing and Packaging strategy for our products
  • Build a strong understanding of the value our products deliver for our users and how differentiated our products are compared to these alternatives
  • Develop and coach a team of high powered strategists that will assist you 
  • Partner with our Go-to-Market functions to implement your recommendations and deliver measurable impact for Stripe and our users
  • Develop a trusted relationship with the leaders of your product area and become their go-to adviser for all monetization questions 
  • Shape the future direction and growth of the pricing & licensing function at Chargebee


  • Senior-level experience in SaaS Global Pricing Models, Packaging and Conjoints, Yield analysis, and Competitive packaging and pricing analysis
  • 8+  years of experience in a similar/relevant role
  • A track-record of developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to present recommendations and get buy-in from the senior executives
  • Ability to distill complexity via a methodical and structured approach
