We are rapidly growing the Chargebee Subscription Management Platform, ecosystem, and the team. We are trying to solve some of the biggest challenges faced by subscription-based businesses – to manage, grow, and retain their recurring revenue.
We are looking out for a Senior Product Manager to help us shape the way subscription based products and services are built, delivered and managed. As Sr. Product Manager, you will own and drive new capabilities in the Chargebee Subscription Management Platform through various stages of the product/feature lifecycle and solve cutting edge industry problems that few others in the subscription business have solved for.
Deeply understand the needs of current and target customers through regular customer interactions and quantitative and qualitative research, and represent their voice to internal teams.
Develop a roadmap and strategy for your product area and be its evangelist for a cross-functional team of PMs, engineers, designers, and marketers.
Own and manage the product backlog, make prioritization decisions based on tradeoffs and sound judgment.
Create detailed product requirements and user stories that clearly articulate the functionality of the product that will be developed.
Participate in/drive Scrum meetings, feature grooming sessions, sprint planning and other product delivery meetings with engineering, design and documentation teams to facilitate product design and development.
Provide adequate new feature training to the sales, success, professional services and support teams to assist them in selling or rolling out new features with a seamless customer experience
Monitor feature usage and adoption, define key success metrics for the product and keep product leadership informed on the success of the product/feature.
Work closely with customers and other stakeholders to understand customer pain points, come up with solutions, and then prototype, iterate, and launch frequently.
Work closely with the GTM teams to articulate the value proposition, deliver collaterals and position the product correctly in the market to new and existing customers.
Take a data-driven approach to defining success metrics, prioritizing requirements, and communicating plans, progress and success.
8+ years of relevant, hands-on Product Management experience and demonstrated success at the leading Enterprise / B2B companies.
Strong understanding of features and technology that impact customer experience
Experience turning product vision and strategy into well-articulated business requirements, as well as using qualitative and quantitative data effectively to inform product direction and prioritization.
Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done and a self-starter.
Strategic thinking and prioritization skills. Ability to make difficult tradeoff decisions, communicate decisively, and create a roadmap to achieve business goals.
Deep empathy for users and a passion to deliver high-quality solutions and products that they love.
Solid understanding of the product development lifecycle and product management processes.
Experience working effectively with cross-functional and across multiple time zones and countries.
Excellent executive-level communication and presentation skills
Prior experience in FinTech, B2B, SaaS is a plus.
Experience working with remote teams is a plus.
BS / MS or MBA or equivalent work experience.
