Lead - Product Marketing ( Subscription Academy)

We are witnessing phenomenal growth as the world shifts towards subscriptions.One of the key initiatives to frontline this growth is Subscription Academy, a learning hub and community initiative, which is aimed at creating a tribe of subscription operators.


As the Lead for Subscription Academy, you will have the opportunity to build and scale Subscription Academy as the go-to learning hub for subscription businesses and their operators. You will help Chargebee create a billion subscription operators in the next 5 years.


Responsibilities include:

Strategize and Craft: As the custodian of the product ‘Subscription Academy’, you will have the chance to conceptualize,  create a new growth-lever for Chargebee from scratch.


Be the voice of the Customer: Identify the learning needs of customers, prospects, and other subscription professionals and turn them into meaningful learning modules. Talk to customers to understand how they’ve been able to scale (or not). Work with customer-facing functions to understand the present learning gaps in the subscription space.


Lead and drive results: Lead the Content and Demand/Grow arms of your team. Design and deliver on the course-content framework, conceptualize and launch new content formats like short courses, certifications, Masterclasses, etc. Organize live educative sessions, plan and execute campaigns, create new learner communities and engage existing learners. 



Be data-driven: Define the foundation for scale. Set up analytics and keep tabs on what’s working and what’s not. Surface ways to improve and put in place the reporting needed to make this happen.


Required Skills & Experience:


Must have been in the Customer Education role for min. 2 years

Previous experience in content development from scratch, instructional design, and e-learning for a B2B software company

Experience with learning management systems (LMS), Thinkific is a plus

5+ years of experience in Marketing in Fintech + SaaS

2+ years of experience in Customer Marketing/Product Marketing

2+ years of team management experience
