Job Intro:


Chargebee is looking for an exceptional Lead BDR who has perfected the Outbound Prospecting Process and can bring those ideas to life within our BDR team.  You will work closely with the BDR and Sales Leadership teams in training and reinforcing best practices that will produce improved results across the sales team. You will also manage your own book of business and carry a personal quota.

 

The Lead BDR will be a hybrid role of individual contributor and player-coach. You will carry a reduced individual contributor quota and become the expert on the team for processes and best-practices. Approximately 50% of your time will be spent managing your own sales funnel and 50% will be spent supporting and training the other team members. You will work in lock-step with the BDR Manager to improve processes and maximize the potential of the BDR team. This will be an in-office role, as much of your time will be spent coaching and training other team members.



What you will be doing:

  • Mentor, coach and train current and incoming Business Development Representatives in order for the sales team to meet and exceed their quota
  •  Participate in the hiring process as we continue to build the BDR team
  •  Responsible for the team's target
  •  Perform thorough needs assessment and identify prospects pain points
  •  Conduct personalized outbound calls, emailing and social channel activities against targeted accounts, prospect lists, and other campaigns
  •  Maintain accurate records of all activities in the CRM
  •  Promote database cleanup and hygiene through regular and ongoing maintenance activities
  •  Work with a global team of BDRs selling to global markets including North America, Europe, and APAC


Qualifications:

  • Good Communication skills 
  • Prior team leadership experience
  • Solid Interpersonal skills


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in SaaS industry 
  • Successful track record in a similar role
