The role of the Account Executive is essential to helping Chargebee achieve our mission to become the industry leader in Subscription Billing for eCommerce companies.
We are looking for an Account Executive to be a key member of the Sales organization and drive growth opportunities by focusing on identifying, targeting, and closing new business. You will lead product demos, qualify potential merchants and provide solutions to build trust in the Chargebee platform. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of merchants, varying in size and industry, and will be responsible for owning the full sales cycle for each of your accounts.
What you will be doing:
Qualify, build, and manage the sales pipeline including leads and inquiries regarding Chargebee’s various eCommerce solutions
Expertly complete the end-to-end sales cycle from cold email outreach to scheduling and facilitating online product demonstrations and closing the sale
Perform business, product and technical demonstrations to customers and prospective customers as needed
Use a value-oriented, consultative sales approach to educate customers on what products will best meet their business needs; building long term relationships
Consistently exceed monthly metrics and quota
3+ years SaaS or PaaS sales experience, eCommerce preferred
Strong experience selling to a Director-level with a good understanding of eCommerce
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and must be comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work remote-first in a rapidly scaling organization
Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce or other eCommerce/digital platforms
Experience using Salesforce/FreshWorks CRM
Understanding of headless architecture and APIs
Work closely with both our Technology and Partner Agency Teams to source new opportunities
Experience with a sales automation tool, SalesLoft preferred. (other tools: Outreach.io, yesware, quickmail.io, etc)
