Job Intro: 

Chargebee is looking for an exceptional and self-directed Product Manager who is passionate about helping shape the product roadmap at a dynamic and fast-growing startup. You will work closely with a world-class engineering and design team to deliver game-changing product capabilities and drive continuous product improvements. 

 

As a Senior Product Manager you will own the strategy, develop the roadmap of our revenue recognition accounting product, and work closely with leaders across the organization to realize the product vision. You must have both a proven track record building SaaS platform services and a desire to drive amazing new product capabilities.


What you will be doing:

  • Play a leadership role to the revenue accounting product team. Become the go to person for detailed domain questions around REVLOCK. Spend time with the REVLOCK executive team, customer success, sales teams and directly with customers to ensure you develop deep understanding of customer needs;

  • Develop detailed business requirement documents / use case documentation that captures a detailed understanding of customer needs; Ensure that requirements are consumable by the development and quality groups.

  • Become an expert and maintain deep knowledge of REVLOCK functions around ASC 606, IFRS 15;

  • Work with the development and quality teams to assist their understanding of requirements and provide inputs on system design to ensure it the functional requirements;

  • Provide knowledge and expertise to support the sales and customer success teams in pre-sales activity, diagnostic and onboarding activities;


Qualifications:

  • Have prior experience building accounting or similar computer applications.

  • Understanding of the accounting close cycle, financial reporting and accounting system controls.

  • Have a deep understanding of accounting and software market development and technical processes.

  • Prior experience building detailed plans and supporting technical teams in building Microsoft Excel or other models to explain calculations and results.

  • Experience with databases and SQL is highly desirable.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Startup Experience

  • Experience working in or with Finance departments either with or for Controllers or CFO’s and or other accounting functions

  • Experience working in an Agile environment and managing and decisioning under a roadmap process
